Small Talk Series w/ In-Q
This past week, we sat down (and stood up) with Poet In-Q at our office in Culver City. It was another one for the books and we are grateful that the creative community in Culver City and LA join us on this ride.
Even thought we have done 7 of these, each one is so unique. We love that. From the guest speaker sharing their craft and story to the different people we get to meet - it's a happy place in the midst of our crazy world right now.
Onward

— "You've got to burn before you can shine."
— "I am both he obstacle and vehicle for my poems. As the writer and the deliverer of these poems, what I'm overcoming is stepping out of my own way."
— On inspiration "When you start from something that's true, the poem will write itself. There's no need to look for inspiration. You just need to notice when it's there."
— I meditate twice a day and haven't missed a day in 4 years. It's my non-negotiable. Meditation is the gym for letting go."'
We aim to do our part as creatives to bring together people in the city of angels for a gathering where we explore the creative process of all the different corners of our city.
We love all kinds of talks, the ones that introduce you to new stories, the ones you never expected, and the ones that push you to do more. Small conversations can lead to big ideas. This inspired us to create the Small Talk Series, which invites an intimate audience to dive into meaningful conversations lead by folks from the LA community to tap into the topics that matter most.
